Cal Pump Mag Drive Pumps Are Energy Efficient Fountain Pumps
One of the newest pumping technologies available for light duty applications is known as a mag drive pump (magnetic drive or wet-rotor pump). All electrical components in the Cal Pump fountain water pump series are completely sealed in a non-toxic plastic resin. The impeller is mounted on a magnet that is chased around in circles by electrical charge from the sealed motor. The range consists of the Cal Pump P60, Cal Pump P80 and Cal Pump P140. All three models are safe, efficient small fountain pumps for light-duty freshwater or saltwater applications with 115 volt 60 HZ motors.
