These clever floating pond skimmers from Oase remove floating surface leaves, grass and other debris by skimming the surface of the pond to prevent water clouding.

To install the surface skimmer simply anchor the unit down by filling the foot (tray) with pebbles or stones. Ideally you want the skimmer to be just below the pond surface so that leaves and other floating debris can be filtered (sucked) out of the pond.

The Oase IP 200 unit is height adjustable and should be connected to a solids handling pond-pump that is flow rated between 3,000 and 15,000 litres per hour (US Gal 790 - 3950 gph). This makes them perfect for use as floating koi pond skimmers or surface skimmers in the majority of garden fish ponds.
