The BIOTEK pond filter range uses a unique backwashing system known as the "FLUFF-N-SPIN" system. The internals of the biofilter have been engineered to allow a "FLUFFING" of the media during routine backwashes, whilst the spinning motion causes bio floc (debris) to spin off and beneficial bacteria to remain.
