PBF750 Pressurized UVC Filter
The Beckett PBF750 Pressurized UVC Filter has been designed for use in medium sized ponds up to 750 gallons with pump flow rates between 300 - 750gph. It has an integral 9 Watt UV sterilizer to ensure that your pond water remains free from floating algae. As the water containing the floating algae passes the UV tube it is destroyed by exposure to ultraviolet light and mechanically filtered from the pond by the Beckett bio filter, using a series of 3 filters: fine, medium and coarse. Biological filtration is carried out in the biological chamber by the beneficial bacteria that colonize on the bio balls biomedia. Supplied with a 1 year warranty and includes an easy maintenance back flush valve that allows you to dispel waste easily and efficiently. PBF3000 Pressurized UVC Filter
The Beckett PBF3000 Pressurized UVC Filter is for use in large ponds up to 3000 gallons and with pump flow rates of 2000gph. It has an integrated 9 Watt UV to ensure that your pond remains free from green water. As the water containing the green water passes the UV tube it is destroyed by exposure to UV light, causing it to clump together (flocculate). The dead algae is then mechanically filtered from the pond by a series of 2 filters: coarse and medium. Biological filtration is carried out by the friendly bacteria that live on the bio balls (biomedia). For the majority of fish ponds (those up to 6000 gallons) a combined pond filter + UV is the most economical option for cost saving and ease of use. Supplied with a manufacturers 1 year warranty and includes an easy maintenance back flush valve that allows you to dispel waste easily and efficiently.
